It was such a privilege to host our Zambia project coordinator, Mathias Zimba for a few days earlier this month. His knowledge and experience are such an asset.
During his visit, Mathias was invited to present to two classes at Brigham Young University through the Ballard Center of Social Impact. He shared about his nonprofit experience with Mary’s Meals Zambia, Rising Fountain Development Program, and how he came to partner with Coafrica to build a classroom block at Nkhuzyeni Primary School.
Mathias also offered a presentation and Q&A session to a small gathering of Coafrica friends and family. He shared about his extensive experience in nonprofit work in Zambia focusing on education, classroom construction, and empowering impoverished communities in need. This was a rare opportunity for those in attendance to hear firsthand about impactful initiatives and challenges faced on the ground in Africa.
