Background: Kamongo Kadwa Primary School was initially build in 1972. It has been in operation for 51 years. Many of the students were learning in dilapidated classrooms or under the trees. During the 4-6 month long rainy season they often struggled with wind blowing the roof off or leaking heavily leading to cancelled classes. Now, the students are learning is a beautiful sound building with 4 additional classrooms. The students and their community are so excited to have proper classrooms so they can attend school even during the rainy season. We hope these new classrooms will provide a safe and durable learning environment for students and help them to reach their goals and achieve their dreams.
