EPP Adjajdi Cossoe Primary School is well into construction on their second block of classrooms!

Before official construction began, community members of Allada, Benin volunteered to clear the land — using machetes to uproot plants in the heat of the sun.
A few days later on August ninth, skilled workers began to lay the foundation.
As men and women from the community work alongside them, the walls of the school are forming one block at a time.

In just three weeks, we’ve made and reinforced the foundation, finished the superstructure of block work, and stabilized the structure with columns. We can’t wait to see continued progress!
