While in Africa, Coafrica Director Marci Romney and her husband Matt had the opportunity to visit the Sendwe Primary School! About the experience, Marci said, “Sendwe was so much fun! We got to stop by somewhat spontaneously and see the progress on the foundation. Also, we happened to visit during school hours, so we got to see and interact with some of the kids!”

Community members from the nearby villages help add buckets of dirt to the foundation. Marci and Matt even got to join in on the fun! The buckets of dirt were heavier than they looked.

Of course, our favorite part of the visit to Sendwe was seeing all of the amazing schoolchildren! We can’t wait for this classroom to be finished so they can learn in a new building!
