There were so many people who attended the grand opening of Chilima Primary School!
After hearing speeches from community members and government officials, we witnessed many cultural dances presented by the community.
Community members even presented Coafrica with a traditional dance skirt and invited our director to join in the fun!
Among others, the man pictured below in the red tie is the President of Malawi’s brother! We are so excited about the opportunity we had to briefly discuss with him the possibility of more projects in Malawi.
The completed school will allow for an additional 300 students to have access to a classroom. We are so grateful to the community for all the support they gave us during construction!
