Chimimba Primary School has stood as a pillar of learning and hope since 1945. For 78 years, generations of children have passed through its doors, studying in dilapidated classrooms, borrowed church spaces, a nearby clinic, or even under the shade of trees. All of that changed on September 26th, 2025.
On that day, the Chimimba community gathered with joy and pride to celebrate the official handover of newly constructed classrooms — a milestone that marks a transformative moment for the school’s 1,158 learners.
The new classrooms represent more than brick and mortar. They symbolize dignity, safety, and opportunity.
It was such a privilege to be there in person to share in the joyous celebration of new beginnings and a brighter future with this community.
