Background: Igusi primary school is a rural school located in the Umguza district in Zimbabawe. The school was built in 1980 and houses 252 students ranging form preschool to grade 7 in only 7 classrooms. The existing classrooms are showing extensive structural cracks and Lack of space has the early elementary classes meeting in a poorly ventilated hut or outdoors exposed to the elements. Once complete, the new classroom block will provide much needed space, including for a class of special needs learners.
