Kabuthu Primary School is located in North Lilongwe. Coafrica has worked together to construct a new classroom block and provide more space and safer learning resources for the students. Construction began in October 2022 and the handover ceremony took place in June 2023. This was a particularly special Grand Opening as First Lady, Madame Monica Chakwera, presided over the handover!
Education has been an important part of First Lady Chakwera’s journey to where she is now and we are so grateful that she was able to attend and share how necessary education is. We also were so excited to hear from and see performances from the students, witness the ribbon cutting and introduction of the new school block!
We are so grateful to the local governments and communities for their work and support and we cannot wait to see what benefits to education this new school block provides!
