Coalition: Build a School Initiative in Africa
Background: This school was created in 2008. The Beninese government authorizes the creation of schools but doesn’t have the means to provide infrastructure. The existing structures at the school were shelters built by the community. Before construction, the school still had a 475 student wait list and operated on a shift schedule to accommodate the current students. We hope these additional classrooms will help move students into proper durable classrooms and provide space for more students to attend school.
