Background: Bowe Primary School is a rural school in the Dowa district of Malawi. High student enrollment in this area has exceeded the capacity of the existing structures, leaving many classes meeting outside under the trees. With an estimated 400 additional out-of-school children in the area, this school needed our help. Once completed, we hope the additional 4 classrooms will provide a safe and conducive learning environment for students and entice more out-of-school children to start attending school.
