Background: Bweya Primary School has been in operation since 1926. Original structures were crumbling and unsafe leaving the community to set up temporary structures for student learning. Many children were out of school because of the lack of permanent classrooms. Children were eager to learn, but the infrastructure simply didn’t exist to support them.  The community partnered with Coafrica to make these new classrooms possible. We are so excited for the children to benefit from a safe learning environment for years to come.
