Background: Salawu Abiola High School is located on the outskirts of Abeokuta, Nigeria. It currently has 19 classrooms housing 1,585 students. The existing structure is in such poor condition, safety concerns have led teachers to hold their classes outside. With an additional 700 students estimated to be out of school in the area, this school needed more space.  The excitement and energy at the grand opening of the new classroom block was palpable. We look forward to watching the impact these classrooms have on current students, and hope that more will join them in the new classrooms.
