Background: Pahou Ouidah is a secondary school that serves 4 nearby villages with a total population of 33,000 people in a rural Benin. When the school was created in 1985, there were only 100 students. In 2023, there are over 5,000 with an additional 600 on the waiting list. Our completed school allows classroom access to the 23 classes who were being taught outside who missed education when the weather was bad. We are excited to follow along with this school to see the impact the new classrooms are having on the students and their community.
