We had a wonderful event at the beginning of November, celebrating the good work we’ve accomplished because of the generous donations of our Coafrica family!
At the start of each new school year, independent data collectors visit each of Coafrica’s schools. They gather data about enrollment, number of teachers, new students etc, inspect the building for any issues, and interview teachers and students about their experience. We shared some highlights from our initial analysis, and we can’t wait to share more when the impact report comes out at the end of the year.
Our dear friend, Vimbai Tembo shared her experience growing up an orphaned girl in Zimbabwe and how the sacrifices she and her loved ones made to access and pursue education have changed her life and given her family a brighter future. She is a living reminder that the work we are doing matters. That is why she is so passionate about being a part of the Coafrica family.
