With about three months of construction underway, EAC School in Abeokuta, Nigeria has continued its transformation.
Upon demolition of the earlier, dilapidated classroom block, workers and willing community members set out a foundation, arranged a substructure of blocks, and laid concrete.
Thanks to their diligence, only one week later walls, columns, and beams have seemingly sprung up.
Now they have hammered roof trusses into place, installed ceilings, finished the roofing itself, and have even begun to attach doors and window fittings.
EAC Primary School is projected to be finished by February 15th. We are overjoyed with the progress thus far, and can’t wait to watch the transformation continue – a transformation that will hopefully stretch far beyond the walls of the building itself.
