On October 2, we finished EPP Adjadji-Cossoe’s second block of classrooms!

After three months of strenuous work — from laying the foundation to painting final touches — we are extraordinarily grateful to all who made this possible.

Members of neighboring communities voluntarily aided us by moving materials and helping us finish in time.

A few days after finishing this second block of classrooms, we celebrated with another grand handover ceremony.

While guests seated together, they listened to addresses by city and school representatives in addition to the mayor and a member from the ministry of education.

Although this second block of classrooms was an addition to our initial project in Benin, BASIA again announced further construction; with the funds available, they will be able to build a toilet on school grounds!
