Assagba Kope is getting their first permanent classroom block!
At Assagba Kope Primary School these are the three shelters that serve as classrooms for over 250 students. When the community started the school in 2008, the government didn’t provide them with any facilities. That didn’t stop the community from wanting to provide a place for their children to get an education. They banded together to build these shelters as best they could. Now, it’s time for them to have some permanent classrooms.
This community and the students are so excited to have durable, safe classrooms. You can feel their enthusiasm and committment to this project. We look forward to seeing this project come together and hope you’ll follow along.
