After months of careful planning, we finally broke ground on our first school in Zimbabwe! Igusi Primary School is located in a rural area about 50 miles outside of Bulawayo. Our project coordinator, Chesa, met with the community to garner their support. Community commitment and investment is an integral part of any Coafrica project. We ask them to be involved in building their school by contributing in any way they can. For this community in Zimbabwe, this will include preparing the ground, digging the foundation, transporting materials and providing security at the site.
