Background: Sendwe Primary School has been in operation since 1972. One classroom block was crumbling, while the other shakes during the rainy season causing teachers and learners to run away in case it collapses. With 8 grades and nearly 900 students, only 4 classrooms were functional and at least 10 met under the trees. Since completion of the new classroom block, enrollment in the school has increased and 11 classes meet in a safe durable classroom! We look forward to following the progress at this school.
