Background: Kabuthu School was initially build in 1939. It serves 1100 students with an additional 400 children estimated to be out of school in the area. Before construction of the new classroom block there were 8 classes of 100+ students meeting outside exposed to the elements. Since the completion of our classroom block, the school has seen a 44% increase in enrollment and has an additional 5 teachers employed at the school. We’re excited to see the impact these classrooms continue to have in this community.
